Bakhoor wood chips are a traditional Middle Eastern aromatic blend of small wood fragments infused with essential oils, resins and intense fragrances. Bakhoor is used to scent rooms and textiles and to accompany rituals and special occasions.
Heat the chips on glowing incense charcoal or in an electric resin burner. The small pieces release a deep, warm, spicy fragrance gradually and leave a lasting scent. In Arab homes, bakhoor traditionally marks occasions, hospitality and moments of spiritual reflection.
How to use
- Light an incense charcoal tablet until it glows.
- Place it in a heat-resistant burner.
- Add a small amount of bakhoor on top of the charcoal.
- Let the heat release the fragrance gradually.
Alternatively, use an electric burner designed for resins and aromatic blends. A small amount is enough to scent a room.
