How to Use the Yoni Egg

Before first use, clean the egg thoroughly with warm water and a mild cleanser. Through the hole it is possible to thread a cotton or unflavoured dental floss to facilitate removal.

Insertion

Find a quiet environment where you can relax without rushing. It is advisable to assume a comfortable position, lying down or semi-reclined.

After bringing the egg to a comfortable temperature, gently place it at the vaginal entrance with the more rounded part facing inward. Allow the body to relax and proceed without forcing the movement.

Initial Practice

For the first sessions it is advisable to limit use to approximately 10–15 minutes.

During the practice you can:

• Simply stay relaxed and focus on breathing.
• Perform pelvic floor awareness exercises.
• Practise meditation or deep relaxation.
• Carry out light household activities while maintaining awareness of bodily sensations.

Example Exercise

While lying down, breathe in deeply and gently contract the pelvic floor muscles for a few seconds, then release slowly while exhaling.

Repeat the movement gently and in a controlled manner, always maintaining natural breathing.

Removal

At the end of the practice, fully relax the body. If a thread was used, pull it gently. Alternatively, squat and relax the pelvic floor muscles to allow the egg to come out naturally.

Cleaning and Hygiene
