Further details about the stone:

Crystal system: Trigonal
Family: Quartz
Colours: Various, with coloured bands or zones

Soul: Encourages introspection to find answers within yourself and critical analysis of experiences to discover the lesson behind them.

Subconscious: Brings security and protection, helping withstand external influences.

Mental sphere: Encourages logical, rational thinking to find effective practical solutions calmly and decisively; supports concentration and prevents the mind scattering across many activities.

Emotional sphere: Improves sensitivity and openness to others.

Body: Protects the whole body, especially the uterus during pregnancy; supports cellular regeneration and harmonious growth; strengthens immunity; supports digestion and waste elimination.

Cleansing and recharging: Immerse in cold salt water for a few hours or use Reiki. Alternatively, rest on a natural amethyst or rock crystal cluster. Sunlight (not direct) and moonlight restore vitality. Once agate has released all its energetic potential, it becomes fragile and breaks; then return it to nature by placing it in the sea or a watercourse.

Use: Carry in a pocket or natural-fibre pouch around the neck; wear mounted in pendants, necklaces or bracelets; sleep with it in your pillowcase. Excellent for meditation and Reiki; an important mineral in crystal healing.
