How to use incense bricks
The Exotic Incense diffuser is designed to reach the right temperature for diffusing Aromafume incense bricks. Other devices may be unsuitable.

• Light the tealight and place the Exotic Incense diffuser over it.
• Place the incense brick on the copper plate.
• The brick burns for 45–60 minutes. The diffuser becomes hot. Do not touch.
• After this time, blow out the tealight and allow the diffuser to cool.
• The brick will turn dark black and hard. It will not melt.
• Dispose of used bricks with organic waste.

Warning!

• Never leave the candle unattended.
• Do not touch or move a burning candle. This could cause wax to spill and lead to a fire.
• Ensure the flame does not touch the plate. If soot builds up, extinguish the candle immediately.
• Remove soot from the plate. Debris falling into hot wax can cause a fire.
• Trim the wick if necessary; long wicks can cause dripping or flare-ups.
• Always keep the wax container free of wick trimmings, matches and deposits.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets, and away from flammable objects.

The story of Aromafume
Aromafume incense bricks are produced by a family-run Indian business. For more than five generations, this family has specialised in incense and perfumery, following a secret recipe that combines the ancient art of handmade natural incense with modern fragrance varieties. India traditionally lay on the spice and incense trade route. Their ancestors had a deep understanding of the principles of the ingredients used in Ayurvedic medicine. The interaction between spices and Ayurvedic principles led to an exchange of knowledge and, in particular, the development of many varieties of incense.
