Soul: Obsidian guides the mind through the dark areas of the unconscious, acting as a mirror and showing us the fears, insecurities and self-centred attitudes that keep us away from the Light. In this way, it helps purify the lower ego and reminds us that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Subconscious: Brings repressed contents of consciousness to light.
