Subconscious Helps manifest dreams and ideals in physical reality, inspiring objective, practical ways to achieve them. Encourages taking more from life while letting go of what no longer serves or aligns with you and your higher purposes.

Mind Releases tension and reduces stress. Encourages practical, reliable projects suitable for building new beginnings.

Emotions Counters the tendency to run away from problems, encouraging acceptance of your body, heart and life. It then encourages taking personal responsibility for your quality of life and acting to improve it, lifting depressive moods.

Body Smoky quartz rebalances the nervous system, eliminates toxins by encouraging the flow of subtle energies and is effective for stiffness, including the neck and back.

Cleaning and recharging Immerse in cold salt water for a few hours. Alternatively, use Reiki, a violet flame or rest the stone on an amethyst or clear quartz cluster. Sunlight, avoiding direct exposure, and moonlight restore its vitality. Once smoky quartz has given up all its energetic potential, it will become fragile and break. At that point, it should be returned to nature by releasing it into the sea or a watercourse.

Use Carry it in your pocket or in a natural-fibre pouch around your neck, or wear it set in a necklace, bracelet or pendant. Sleep with it inside your pillowcase. Excellent during meditation and Reiki treatments. It can be taped to the skin at the first chakra. A fundamental mineral in crystal healing.
